Buddy the pet portriat

My friend Anny commissioned me to paint a portrait of her dog Buddy for her husband for his birthday. Hope this does her little friend justice. It was exciting to paint a cocker spaniel...they have such curls and are so very sweet. Anny said Buddy was a shy dog. He had passed away...I like being able to give him life again this way. Thanks Anny for giving me this opportunity to paint him for you.
